Project Management

WHY TAKE THIS COURSE AT BBS?

For you:

  • Gain the methods and tools to define, organize and monitor complex projects.
  • Strengthen your skills in project planning, resource management, work breakdown structures (WBS), project charters and multi-project management.

For your company:

  • Achieve greater efficiency, control and consistency in managing projects.
  • Improve the ability to meet project objectives on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The Project Management course, taught by a faculty combining academics and consultants, provides the tools and methodological framework needed to address the challenges of defining, organizing and monitoring a project.

For many years, organizing and managing work through projects was primarily the domain of large companies operating in infrastructure and civil and industrial engineering. Today, the number and range of organizations working on a project basis have grown significantly, particularly with the expansion of business services.

The Project Management course equips participants with the tools and approach needed to manage projects across a variety of contexts.

The course is available in two formats: an evening format (10 sessions from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.) or a part-time weekend format (5 full-day sessions held on Fridays and Saturdays, from 9:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.).

The course covers all the key aspects of project management, from multi-project management and project charters to work breakdown structures and resource planning, combining methodological foundations with practical case studies and applications.

Attendance on the course enables participants to register for the internationally recognized Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification exam.

"Growing attention is being paid to achieving compelling targets along the consolidated project performance features, therefore project management has become a tool and a "managerial practice" for all companies and sectors.
Project management must be seen as a result-oriented management system, leading people to set targets for themselves, to plan how to achieve them, to control the operational process leading to their achievement, to work systematically and with flexibility at the same time."

Vincenzo Emanuele Caridà

R&D Project Engineer, KEMET Electronics Corporation
Project Management, anno 2020, XIII edizione

"In my work, I lead and contribute to numerous complex and highly innovative R&D projects, both as a Project Leader and as a Team Member. Throughout these projects, I liaise continuously with salespeople, suppliers, and various company departments to carry out and coordinate project tasks as efficiently as possible. The course provided me with the fundamental knowledge needed to define and plan a project, along with practical tips on agile and hybrid approaches, which are increasingly common in modern manufacturing environments. The faculty and guest speakers further enhanced the quality of the course. It was an excellent experience: through theoretical explanations and practical business case studies, I gained a wealth of concepts, terminology, and approaches to strengthen my personal and professional skills and improve the way I work on projects."

Ivana Malvacio

Project Management, anno 2021, VII edizione serale
