He is a non-executive board member of United Ventures, Marr, and the Mast Foundation. He is also Vice President of EFMD Global, with responsibility for Organisational Transformation & AI.

Ph.D. in Materials Engineering at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa (born in 1965 in Bergamo, Italy) is an Italian biblical scholar and a member of the Order of Friars Minor (Franciscans). Since 2020, he has served as the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem. In 2023, Pope Francis elevated him to the College of Cardinals, making him the first cardinal to reside in the State of Israel

From 1999 to 2004, he was President of the European Commission. Romano Prodi is also President of the Advisory Board of Bologna Business School.
