Andrea Pontremoli has been CEO and Partner of Dallara Automobili since 2007, a global leader in the design and production of racing cars and high-tech engineering solutions. His career began at IBM in 1980 as a Hardware Customer Engineer, followed by a steady path of growth in roles of increasing responsibility across marketing, services, and international management.
After several experiences abroad, he returned to Italy in 2001 as General Manager of IBM Global Services South Region. In 2004, he was appointed President and CEO of IBM Italy, leading the company through a phase of significant strategic and organizational transformation.
Today, he combines his leadership at Dallara with extensive institutional and entrepreneurial work: he sits on several boards of directors and is strongly committed to promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration among companies, universities, and local communities. He is a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and has received an honorary degree from the University of Parma.
