The Community Commons is the vibrant heart of the new Bologna Business School Campus – a space designed to welcome and connect all members of our School: students, alumni, faculty, staff, donors, members of the Governance, and friends of BBS.
Created to foster exchange, collaboration, and a sense of belonging, the Community Commons is much more than a physical location. It is a living environment where ideas, projects, and relationships take shape, continuing the dialogue between generations, cultures, and visions of the future.
The Community Commons includes a variety of unique spaces: the Auditorium, the Theater-Staircase, outdoor classrooms, and the Canteen. During the summer, it also hosts Amerigo | BBS, a restaurant created in partnership with Amerigo 1934, the historic Michelin-starred trattoria from the Bolognese Apennines, celebrated for its dedication to quality and local traditions.
The restaurant reopens on Tuesday, May 26th and will offer, Tuesday through Thursday, an Amerigo dining experience where the award-winning culinary tradition of the Bolognese Apennines meets the international spirit of BBS: a land-based menu enhanced each week with fresh seafood creations and a signature dish from around the world, inspired by the culinary heritage of a student from one of the 60+ countries represented at the school.
On Fridays, the format shifts: Cocktail & Tapas from Around the World with Salvatore Castiglione – tapas paired with selected cocktails, the perfect way to close the week.
Access to the Community Commons and the restaurant is reserved for members of the BBS Community, who will receive a personal membership card.
The Community Commons was created as an open home—a place to reconnect, nurture a sense of belonging, and continue the journey of growth, dialogue, and innovation that defines Bologna Business School.
To ensure a high-quality experience for everyone, we’ve defined a few simple guidelines that reflect the style and values of our School.

GUIDELINES
Tables are available by confirmed reservation only via WhatsApp or e-mail.
Every Community member holding a membership card may bring up to five guests per evening. Guest names must be provided at the time of booking: a wonderful opportunity to share the School with those close to them.
To access the Restaurant, members must present their Membership Card or give their name at the door, which will be checked against the reservation list. The Membership Card is strictly personal. We reserve the right to verify the identity of cardholders.
For private dining or special event enquiries, please contact us at: amerigo@bbs.unibo.it.
Villa Guastavillani and the new Campus are places inspired by beauty, and for this reason, we believe it is appropriate to access the restaurant in suitable attire.
In particular, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing shorts, bermuda shorts, flip-flops, sportswear, or overly casual clothing.
All children are welcome. Every evening, a dedicated table for families with children will be reserved outdoors, in a sheltered area, to ensure a pleasant and peaceful experience for everyone.
Our four-legged friends are part of the Community too.
One pet per evening is allowed, given the unique nature of the space. Please let us know about their presence when making your reservation.
