Leonardo Corbo is an Associate Professor of Management at the Department of Management of the University of Bologna. He previously served as Assistant Professor of Management at Católica Porto Business School. He earned his PhD in Business Administration from the University of Bologna and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at LUISS University.
He has held Visiting Scholar positions at Stanford University, the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University), and the Sauder School of Business (University of British Columbia). He has also been a Research Fellow at the LUISS Creative Business Center and the Service Management Lab (Católica Porto), and a member of the Alma-AI center at the University of Bologna.
His research interests focus on alliances, business model innovation, and start-ups. He regularly participates in research and consulting projects across various sectors, including automotive, air transportation, food, mobile payments, and logistics. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Long Range Planning.
Alongside his academic career, he has worked in marketing at FIAT headquarters and in consulting at VVA.
