Open Lesson | Team Management and Organization of Sport Clubs

Apr 07 2026 - 5.30 pm CEST - via Microsoft Teams

On April 7, 2026 at 5:30 PM, the event “BBS meets Lorenzo De Silvestri – Team Management and Organization of Sport Clubs” will take place on campus.

How do you build and lead a high-performing team? What organizational principles underpin the functioning of a professional sports club?

In this session, Lorenzo De Silvestri, captain of Bologna FC 1909, will join a conversation with Angelo Manaresi, Director of the Master in Business Management, sharing his firsthand experience to discuss the dynamics, responsibilities, and challenges involved in managing a team, both on and off the field.

The discussion will explore the key principles of sports organizations, including distributed leadership, coordination between staff and players, managing high-pressure moments, and building a strong, results-oriented team culture.

This event offers an opportunity to understand how professional sports models can provide practical and transferable insights for the business world, especially in complex and high-performance environments.

The event will be held in Italian, take place on campus, and is open to participants outside the BBS community who are interested in learning more about the Full-Time Masters and the BBS learning experience.

Registration is required to attend.

The lesson will be in italian.
