After earning her Master’s degree in Law from the University of Bologna, which included a study experience at Paris X Nanterre University, Valentina Balestra began her career in Human Resources, specialising in Learning and Development. Over the following years, she developed her career within leading international companies in the engineering and manufacturing sector, eventually taking on responsibility for training activities across Italy and the company’s European sales subsidiaries. Through these experiences, she developed solid expertise in designing and managing learning and development programmes, supporting both individuals and organisations in strengthening skills and enhancing performance.

In 2026, she joined the Bologna Business School team.
