{"id":87633,"date":"2022-05-31T16:42:15","date_gmt":"2022-05-31T14:42:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/?p=87633"},"modified":"2022-05-31T16:42:15","modified_gmt":"2022-05-31T14:42:15","slug":"global-mba-company-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/en\/global-mba-company-visit\/","title":{"rendered":"Global MBA Company Visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BBS<\/strong> combines its <strong>Global MBA<\/strong> courses with additional educational experiences: from <strong>Leadership Talks<\/strong> to <strong>Company Visits<\/strong>, course programs are integrated with &#8216;hands-on training&#8217; events throughout the study year.<\/p>\n<p>One of the reasons why an MBA is among the most prestigious and sought-after degrees in the world is the strength with which <strong>business and management<\/strong> concepts are <strong>applied to real-world situations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BBS<\/strong> has developed this concept according to the <strong>glocal<\/strong> and <strong>business-oriented approach<\/strong> of its Global MBA: based on the different directions of the <strong>five tracks<\/strong>, it has planned a series of <strong>visits<\/strong> <strong>to leading companies in the target sector<\/strong>, integrating lectures and direct contact with the business world. The first-hand experiences and meetings with leading executives become an opportunity for BBS Global MBA students to enhance their <strong>cultural background<\/strong> and <strong>network<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BBS<\/strong> has built an important <strong>network<\/strong> of companies that collaborate directly with the <strong>Global MBA<\/strong> Program, always updated and tailored to the real needs of the business world. This collaboration is developed throughout the study year up to the final <strong>internship<\/strong>. With the <strong>Company Visits<\/strong>, BBS students can discover the environments, the equipment, and the management and managerial approaches of the leading companies directly from the professionals. It means discovering industry <strong>best practices<\/strong> and having unique <strong>networking<\/strong> opportunities, which can lead to future job collaborations.<\/p>\n<p>For the track <strong>Design, Fashion and Luxury Goods<\/strong>, BBS has planned last year a visit to <strong>Giuseppe Zanotti S.p.A.<\/strong>, a leading shoe manufacturer, and a meeting with the designer of luxury footwear Giuseppe Zanotti. A visit to <strong>Colombini S.p.A.<\/strong>, manufacturer and owner of luxury furniture brands for over fifty years, is planned for 2022.<\/p>\n<p>For the <strong>Food and Wine<\/strong> track, visits to <strong>Gruppo Montenegro<\/strong>, Italian leader since 1885 in the production of spirits and owner of labels such as Vecchia Romagna and Olio Cuore have been organized, and also to <strong>Vigneto San Vito<\/strong>, one of the most renowned wine-growing areas in Italy. This year, the agenda includes visits to companies such as <strong>Granarolo<\/strong> and <strong>Cantina Antinori<\/strong>, pillars of the food and beverage production and marketing.<\/p>\n<p>For the <strong>Supercars, Superbikes, and Motorsports<\/strong> track, after the visits to <strong>Dallara<\/strong>, <strong>Ferrari,<\/strong> and <strong>Lamborghini<\/strong>, names that need no introduction, this year there will be a visit to the <strong>Ducati Museum<\/strong> and the <strong>Ducati<\/strong> factory, the icon of motorcycling. In addition, a meeting with the <strong>Scuderia Alpha Tauri <\/strong>is scheduled at the <strong>Autodromo Internazionale Enzo and Dino Ferrari<\/strong> in Imola, the flagship of sustainability in motorsport.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, for the <strong>Green Energy and Sustainable Business<\/strong> track, visits are organized to the <strong>Marini &#8211; Fayat Group<\/strong>, a leading manufacturer of bituminous conglomerate equipment, and to <strong>Ferrovie R&amp;D<\/strong> at the San Donato circuit, Europe&#8217;s first equipped laboratory and cutting-edge technology hub of the Italian railway network.<\/p>\n<p>It is essential, today, that higher education programs stay connected to the business world.
