A rich program of <\/span><b>events<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with the programmatic title <strong>Made in Dig(Italy) &#8211; <b>Digitally managing HR in (post?)-pandemic scenario<\/b><\/strong>, characterized the week spent by the students of the French institute in Bologna, who were involved in <\/span><b>company visits, teamwork sessions, networking opportunities and conferences<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the historical location of Villa Guastavillani.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;In an age characterized by great instability and sudden changes at the global level&#8221;, says <\/span><b>Co-Scientific Director of the Master in HR &amp; Organization Ludovico Bullini Orlandi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, &#8220;we have decided to involve our students in an exchange program with IAE-Sorbonne Business School to give them the opportunity to discuss<\/span><b> the most relevant HR issues<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This <\/span><b>intensive and experiential<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> course, focused on the role of HR in the management of the <\/span><b>digitalization<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of working methods, <\/span><b>agile<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> organizations and the transition towards <\/span><b>sustainability<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, represented a further useful element for their training in the context of the Master&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2022_04_26_28_BBS_0171-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"gruppo hr\" width=\"781\" height=\"537\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After their arrival in Bologna on the 24th and the festive day of the 25th dedicated to the discovery of the city, the young guests of BBS took part in the <\/span><b>kick-off <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in Villa Guastavillani, which saw the participation of some exceptional speakers. <\/span><b>Ivan Mazzei, Chief HR and Organization Officer at Salvatore Ferragamo S.p.A,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> immediately brought attention to one of the Italian and French excellences, talking about the challenges that the HR sector will have to face in the <\/span><b>fashion industry<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in a scenario where it will be essential to turn unexpected events into opportunities. <\/span><b>Giulio Carbone, Associate Partner at McKinsey,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> also spoke about the challenges concerning a new balance in the management of working time and modes, involving the participants in an exciting simulation on the theme &#8220;<\/span><b>The new modalities of agile work&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Professor<\/span><b> Claudia Manca, Scientific Co-Director of the Master in HR &amp; Organization at BBS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, led an HR-thon based on the case study involving AEFFE Group, the company protagonist of the company visit the following day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Back to the Villa on Thursday, April 28 for a very special keynote speech, not only because of the presence of a speaker such as <\/span><b>Charise Le, Chief Human Resources Officer &#8211; Member of the Executive Committee at Schneider Electric<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but also because of the topic addressed, that of <\/span><b>sustainability<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, increasingly central to any type of organization at any level. The speech, entitled <\/span><b>&#8220;The role of HR function in the Sustainability transition&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, presented the case study of Schneider Electric as an example of an efficient transition towards a more sustainable way of doing business. Charise Le started reminding the audience that the topic of <\/span><b>energy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is central and that it is not possible to talk about sustainability without also talking about <\/span><b>innovation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. That&#8217;s why Schneider Electric invests <\/span><b>5% of its revenues in R&amp;D.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To contextualize these numbers, Charise Le also provided an overview of the company, which has<\/span><b> over 128.000 employees worldwide<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and a turnover of <\/span><b>29 billion euros in 2021<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. But investing in research is no longer enough. With the project &#8220;Life is On&#8221; Schneider aims to do much more and, above all, explained Charise Le, intends to do so by <\/span><b>focusing on human resources and their potentia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">l. The <\/span><b>Environment Social Governance (ESG) strategy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> put in place by the company to achieve the objectives outlined by the<\/span><b> SDGs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is made more efficient by a <\/span><b>long-term commitment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> both <\/span><b>global<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; such as attention to resources and issues related to climate change and the creation of equal opportunities in the interest of all generations &#8211; and <\/span><b>local<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, such as the commitment to build value for communities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2022_04_26_28_BBS_0155-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Charise Le HR\" width=\"781\" height=\"537\" \/>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Goals that are summarized in 5 keywords &#8211; <\/span><b>climate, resources, trust, equality and generations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; and that we can find in a comprehensive list of actions to be completed by 2025:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grow our green revenues to 80%<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Help customers save and avoid 800M metric of tons of CO<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> emissions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reduce by 50% CO<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> emissions from top 1,000 suppliers&#8217; operations<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Increase to 50% green material content in our products<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100% primary and secondary packaging free from single-use plastic and using recycled cardboard<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100% strategic suppliers who provide decent work to their employees<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Level of confidence of our employees to report unethical conduct<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Increase gender diversity in hiring (50%), front-line management (40%), leadership teams (30%)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide access to green electricity to 50M people<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Double hiring opportunities for interns, apprentices and fresh graduates<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Train 1M people in energy management<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100% Country and Zone Presidents<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with local commitments that impact their communities<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;At Schneider Electric,&#8221; explained Charise Le, providing attendees with important food for thought, &#8220;we aspire to achieve our corporate <\/span><b>purpose<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>mission<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by <\/span><b>empowering our people<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, helping them reach their<\/span><b> full potential<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We strive to act with <\/span><b>agility<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>confidence<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by <\/span><b>bringing innovation to our customers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in order to be successful in the market.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because if the world is changing and each of us has to think about how to change in order to keep up, it is all the more necessary for companies to be able to &#8220;reset&#8221; and embrace the <\/span><b>new values<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Not only to attract new customers, who are increasingly attentive to the purpose of the companies they choose, but also talented resources. <\/span><b>The role of HR<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who is called upon to manage <\/span><b>new ways of working, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">whose keywords all revolve around the concept of <\/span><b>work well-being<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, becomes fundamental: digital thinking, agile mindset, and hybrid work to meet the different needs of different people are mandatory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2022_04_26_28_BBS_0161-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Studente HR\" width=\"781\" height=\"537\" \/>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Charise Le<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> showed a particularly attentive and engaged audience how <\/span><b>more digitized ways of working<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> can be matched by a <\/span><b>more human approach<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the work itself. Giving confidence and becoming authoritative, attentive and competent guides for resources is perhaps the real challenge of contemporary HR management and is also achieved through <\/span><b>more inclusive leadership.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The last part of Charise Le&#8217;s speech focused on <\/span><b>D&amp;I <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and the biases that often prevent us from understanding the needs of people who are very different from us.
