{"id":63928,"date":"2021-03-29T10:04:29","date_gmt":"2021-03-29T08:04:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/?p=63928"},"modified":"2021-03-29T10:04:29","modified_gmt":"2021-03-29T08:04:29","slug":"a-masters-at-bbs-in-the-time-of-covid-students-recall-their-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/en\/a-masters-at-bbs-in-the-time-of-covid-students-recall-their-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"A Master\u2019s at BBS in the time of Covid: students recall their experience."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Filippo Calamai, a participant in the Part-time evening Executive MBA tells us how to build a future as an entrepreneur accepting a new challenge: the one of distance learning.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I enrolled in the Part-time MBA at BBS because I wished to acquire <\/span><b>leadership<\/b> <b>skills and qualities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which are essential for those who like my dream of starting a company and would like to manage it personally.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also because of the difficult period connected to the pandemic, which required me to put myself to the test, I decided to start with this new adventure in the most challenging and stimulating way possible, that is with an <\/span><b>evening<\/b> <b>Executive MBA<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019m currently halfway through the pathway, I participated in person in the first 2 modules but today I can say that BBS has managed to ensure<\/span><b> excellent educational continuity <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">also when it was no longer possible to attend in person and all teaching activities were shifted online.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In particular, I must say that the <\/span><b>exchange of ideas with my fellow participants<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, everyone of them with high-level profiles, is helpful and enhancing even remotely, and a reason for continuous learning and exchange of views too, which I believe is indispensable for our professional and human growth during this path.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furthermore, what I find extremely helpful is the <\/span><b>interaction between teams <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which every module makes available for the participants, as well as the <\/span><b>events <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BBS regularly organizes within but also outside the <\/span><b>Community<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, involving special speakers. The <\/span><b>testimonies from managers and entrepreneurs <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are of great interest because you can make use of their words in the short-medium term, besides being very stimulating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019d like to conclude by underlining once again that I believe that the <\/span><b>processes that ensured the educational continuity <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">were very well-structured, in a highly complicated historical period, giving rise to an altogether positive experience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The platform we use is <\/span><b>easy to access and to use<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; the modules and the lectures are recorded and can be accessed even at a later time, therefore they\u2019re helpful when you have to revise the topic that was dealt with.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, I\u2019m satisfied with this experience and I
