{"id":17318,"date":"2015-07-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-07-15T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/taking-italian-excellence-global-15\/"},"modified":"2020-02-28T14:22:09","modified_gmt":"2020-02-28T14:22:09","slug":"taking-italian-excellence-global-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/en\/taking-italian-excellence-global-15\/","title":{"rendered":"Taking Italian Excellence Global #15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What is the future of business education?<br \/>\nBBS is publishing one video per week in order to share the opinions and thoughts of the fifteen counselors who are supporting the global growth of Bologna Business School.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This week is the moment of <strong>Eric Cornuel<\/strong>, Director General and\u00a0CEO, EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-KUZleKHevk?list=PLjha8TKMDzE-ay3VbW9OiAQJ8e4xSauFl\" width=\"800\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #4a4a4a;\">Eric Cornuel\u00a0holds a degree of Political Sciences from IEP Paris, an MBA from HEC, a DEA in strategy and management from Paris Nanterre University, together with a Doctoral Certificate of Specialisation in Strategy from HEC Graduate School of Management Paris and a Ph.D. in management from Paris Dauphine University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #4a4a4a;\">Eric started his career as an entrepreneur by setting up an hydroelectric power plant in France when he was still a student. He was in charge of the HEC Institute for Central and Eastern Europe (Paris). He then served as Dean of KIMEP, at the time the leading Business and Economics school in Central Asia, from 1997 to 2000. He was awarded a honorary professorship for his achievements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #4a4a4a;\">Eric\u2019s key qualifications are in the areas of strategy, international management and entrepreneurship and he is a regular contributor to the Emerald Management Journals and the business press.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #4a4a4a;\">Eric Cornuel is, among others, a Board Member of the EIASM (European Institute of Advanced Studies in Management), EABIS (European Academy of Business in Society), ISBM (International Schools of Business Management), CEIBS (China Europe International Business School), and GFME (Global Foundation for Management Education).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Watch the other videos at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLjha8TKMDzE-ay3VbW9OiAQJ8e4xSauFl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">BBS Youtube Channel.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the future of business education?
