This week is the moment\u00a0of\u00a0<strong>Jos\u00e9 de la Torre<\/strong>,\u00a0Dean Emeritus, Florida International University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 <iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VmYPYiHLjMU\" width=\"800\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Dr. de la Torre served as Dean of the Alvah H. Chapman, Jr., Graduate School of Business from July 2002 until December 2007. \u00a0He currently holds the position of Professor and J.K. Batten Eminent Scholar Chair in Strategy, Emeritus, and serves as Executive Director of the EMBA Consortium for Global Innovation.<br \/>\nA distinguished expert in the field of international\u00a0business, de la Torre was previously professor at UCLA\u2019s Anderson School,\u00a0where he served as chair of the Strategy and Organization area and founding director of UCLA\u2019s\u00a0Center for International Business Education and Research.<br \/>\nHe is the author of several books including <em>Nine Investments Abroad and Their Impact at Home, Exports\u00a0 of Manufactured Goods from Developing Countries: Marketing Factors and the Role of Foreign Enterprise, The Activities of IT Multinationals in the European Community, Managing the Global Corporation <\/em>and others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Next Wednesday we are going to listen to<strong> Eugenio Sidoli<\/strong>, CEO, Philip Morris Italia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Watch\u00a0the other videos at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLjha8TKMDzE-ay3VbW9OiAQJ8e4xSauFl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">BBS Youtube Channel.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the future of business education?
