{"id":17224,"date":"2015-03-03T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-03-03T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/how-can-innovation-reduce-social-inequality\/"},"modified":"2020-02-28T14:21:17","modified_gmt":"2020-02-28T14:21:17","slug":"how-can-innovation-reduce-social-inequality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/en\/how-can-innovation-reduce-social-inequality\/","title":{"rendered":"How can innovation reduce social inequality?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In February 2015, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oecd.org\">OECD<\/a> (The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) and the Confederation of Indian Industry co-hosted a three-day conference in New Delhi, allowing stakeholders to share experiences in working towards inclusive innovations that could have large scale impacts.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>A booklet on Scaling up Inclusive Innovations was released at the event, which is taken from the forthcoming OECD publication, Innovation Policies for Inclusive Development.<\/p>\n<p>In serving the welfare of lower\u2013income groups, policy makers are confronted with the challenge of boosting economic growth while making it socially inclusive.
