Every professional journey reaches a point where experience alone is no longer enough. It’s the moment when the desire grows to understand business from a broader perspective and prepare for greater responsibilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This is the reflection that led <\/span>Andrea Poli<\/b> to choose the <\/span>MBA Weekend<\/b><\/a> at Bologna Business School. Coming from a career deeply rooted in the technical and industrial world, he felt the need to develop a more comprehensive managerial vision.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I had a very clear need: to broaden my skills, but above all, my perspective.”<\/b><\/p>\n

His goal was not only to strengthen his knowledge of finance, strategy, marketing and people management, but also to engage with professionals from different industries and backgrounds.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I wanted to understand how other managers tackled their daily challenges, the reasoning behind their decisions, and how they approached organizational and business issues that were different from those I knew firsthand.”<\/b><\/p>\n

For Andrea, the value of the programme went far beyond the knowledge gained in the classroom. What truly made the difference was the interaction with his classmates.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Probably the most important perspective I developed was the ability to look at problems from different angles.”<\/b><\/p>\n

Through project work, classroom discussions and informal exchanges, he sought not only to understand the solutions proposed by his peers, but also the thinking process behind them.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I tried to understand not only the solutions my classmates proposed, but above all how they arrived at those solutions.”<\/b><\/p>\n

Working alongside professionals with different experiences helped him develop a more open and cross-functional approach, which he now considers one of the most valuable tools in his daily work.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Looking at the same problem through different approaches helped me develop a greater ability to interpret situations and a more lateral way of thinking, which I use every day in my work.”<\/b><\/p>\n

The programme’s courses in strategy, finance, marketing, organization and leadership provided a solid managerial foundation, while the continuous dialogue with the MBA community made those concepts tangible and immediately applicable.<\/span><\/p>\n

Looking back on his experience, Andrea believes that an MBA is much more than a professional development opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n

“In most cases, great opportunities don’t simply come by waiting for them. You have to seek them out, prepare yourself to recognize them, and create the conditions to seize them.”<\/b><\/p>\n

For this reason, he encourages anyone considering an MBA to see it not simply as an additional qualification, but as an investment in their personal and professional growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The MBA provides you with tools, methods and relationships; it’s then up to each individual to turn them into real growth.”<\/b><\/p>\n
