People from different backgrounds, industries and countries meet for the first time, with a shared goal: building professional skills without losing touch with the real world. A journey that, month after month, combined classroom learning, business encounters and direct exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Beyond the classroom, inside companies<\/b><\/h3>\n

Company visits were one of the cornerstones of the year. Unique opportunities to observe from the inside how very different organisations actually work: from <\/span>Dorelan<\/b> to <\/span>Flou<\/b>, from <\/span>Illumia<\/b> to <\/span>The Social Hub<\/b>, from <\/span>SACMI<\/b> to <\/span>EssilorLuxottica<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the most intense moments,<\/span> the visit to <\/span>CINECA<\/b><\/a>: supercomputing and <\/span>artificial intelligence<\/b> experienced as real infrastructure reshaping industries, skills and decision-making processes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alongside the visits, company presentations brought a wide range of voices into the classroom: <\/span>Eli Lilly<\/b>, <\/span>Deloitte<\/b>, <\/span>P&G<\/b>, <\/span>World Food Programme<\/b>, <\/span>AC Milan<\/b>, <\/span>Gruppo Montenegro<\/b>, <\/span>Bureau Veritas<\/b> and many others \u2014 each with their own challenges, priorities and way of reading the market.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Working on real problems<\/b><\/h3>\n

Project work with <\/span>SACMI<\/b>, <\/span>Ferrari<\/b> and <\/span>EssilorLuxottica<\/b> asked participants to tackle concrete problems, present solutions to actual company stakeholders and navigate a level of complexity that textbooks rarely capture.<\/span><\/p>\n

One example: the<\/span> hackathon with <\/span>Gruppo Montenegro<\/b><\/a>, where designing HR tools meant testing method, intuition and the ability to work under pressure. All at once, in real time.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Guests, stories, perspectives<\/b><\/h3>\n

Throughout the year, the programme hosted managers, entrepreneurs and professionals with very different career paths. Among the most anticipated guests, <\/span>Mauricio Macr\u00ec<\/b>: former President of Argentina and president of <\/span>Boca Juniors<\/b>, he brought to the classroom a perspective shaped by decades of leadership in high-pressure environments \u2014 politics, sport, business \u2014 where decisions carry real weight and consequences are visible. <\/span>Lorenzo De Silvestri<\/b>, captain of <\/span>Bologna FC<\/b>, brought something different: an everyday, direct approach centred on responsibility, cohesion and team culture. Things measured daily in a dressing room, and just as relevant in any professional setting.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Recruiting and connections<\/b><\/h3>\n

The first edition of the BBS Career & Orientation Day brought together students from the <\/span>Professional Masters<\/b> and the <\/span>Global MBA<\/b> with representatives from fifteen companies in one-to-one sessions: direct conversations focused on real career paths and concrete opportunities. Among the organisations present: <\/span>Boston Scientific<\/b>, <\/span>Buccellati<\/b>, <\/span>Davines<\/b>, <\/span>Technogym<\/b>, <\/span>Siemens<\/b>, <\/span>Prometeia<\/b>, <\/span>CRIF<\/b>, <\/span>Visa Cash App RB F1 Team<\/b> and <\/span>Vertiv<\/b>, to name a few.<\/span><\/p>\n

The idea behind it is straightforward: education grows stronger through <\/span>dialogue with industry<\/b>, and that dialogue is far more valuable when it begins before entering the job market. A day designed to open authentic, productive professional conversations.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What a BBS Professional Master leaves behind<\/b><\/h3>\n

At the end of a year like this, what remains is more than a list of <\/span>skills<\/b> acquired.<\/span> What remains are the people<\/span><\/a>: classmates turned professional contacts, connections built while working on real challenges, conversations that continue beyond the classroom, a solid <\/span>community<\/b> to count on. And what also remains is the relationship built with the <\/span>local business ecosystem<\/b> \u2014 with <\/span>companies<\/b> and <\/span>professionals<\/b> who saw participants work on real problems. For those at the beginning of their professional journey, that is often where the first opportunities take shape.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the closing day, every participant found a blank sheet of paper on their chair: an invitation to write a message to the students who will come next. One last collective activity, in continuity with the <\/span>Tapestry of Knowledge<\/b> from the kick-off. Some words were read aloud:<\/span><\/p>\n

“The most important thing you will take with you are the connections and friendships you will build along the way. Find people who have had completely different backgrounds and lives from your own. That will be the most valuable thing you can gain.”<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

“Being with these wonderful people allowed me to break my constraints. That is something worth more than anything I could have asked for. This experience will always be a beautiful and ever-lasting memory.”<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Simple, direct, authentic. Just like the experience that generated them.<\/span><\/p>\n
