From March 16 to 19, the Professional Master in <\/span><b>HR &amp; Organization<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at <\/span><b>Bologna Business School<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> welcomed participants from <\/span><b>IAE Paris Sorbonne Business School<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for an international exchange focused on <\/span><b>diversity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>organizational culture<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The programme: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hacking Culture and Diversity Management<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Starting from blind spots<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The programme, designed and led by Claudia Manca, Associate Professor at BBS and DTU, revolved around a challenging question: what are we unable to see, and why?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reflecting on personal <\/span><b>blind spots<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> became the starting point for powerful insights. Sarai Diaz, a Master participant, describes a seemingly simple exercise:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;We were asked to list the people we trust the most. I realized that most of them shared my nationality and were close to my age. An unconscious pattern, hard to see until it is pointed out.&#8221;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recognizing the pattern is the first step. Changing it requires intention and, often, the right context.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Inside companies: Hera and DEI as strategy<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> On the second day, participants visited <\/span><b>Gruppo Hera<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a leading Italian multi-utility, where Alessandro Camilleri, HR &amp; Organization Director, and Alessandra Galeotti, Diversity Manager, shared how the company manages its HR strategy with a focus on creating shared value.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The discussion went beyond best practices, offering a concrete view of how <\/span><b>inclusion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, equity and people management translate into organizational choices with visible impact.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Lamborghini: when DEIA shapes product culture<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> On the third day, participants met Lucia Ghirardini, Head of People Experience, Culture and Inclusion, and Antonella Gioia, DEI and CSR Manager at <\/span><b>Automobili Lamborghini<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Their contribution showed how a global brand, with a strong identity, is addressing <\/span><b>diversity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in a structural way across processes, corporate culture and brand narrative.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The session moved beyond \u201chow to do diversity\u201d to explore how organizational identity can be redesigned to become truly inclusive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>DEIA as a strategic framework<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Across academic insights and company testimonials, a clear message emerged. As Sarai Diaz summarized:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;DEIA is not an additional topic. It is a <\/span><\/i><b><i>strategic framework<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that should be embedded in the DNA of an organization. When it truly works, it drives innovation, strengthens engagement and enhances reputation.&#8221;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A perspective that participants\u2014future HR professionals from diverse backgrounds\u2014translated into final presentations, turning insights into concrete analyses and proposals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>An exchange that creates value in both directions<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The collaboration between <\/span><b>Bologna Business School<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>IAE Paris Sorbonne Business School<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> demonstrated that diversity in the classroom is not an abstract value, but a real working condition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Different backgrounds, perspectives and questions that would not emerge in a homogeneous group: exactly the starting point of the programme\u2014and perhaps its most lasting outcome.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Four days, two schools, one theme that goes beyond the classroom.
