The Kick-Off of the <\/span>Master in Business Management<\/b> marks the beginning of a journey that brings together managerial education, relationships, interdisciplinarity and dialogue with key figures from contemporary industry. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The 2025\u201326 edition, hosted at the new campus of Bologna Business School, offered participants an intense day of content, conversations and activities designed to introduce the values of <\/span>generative education<\/b> and learning as a transformative experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

The day opened with the Inaugural Speech by <\/span>Paola Giuri<\/b>, Associate Dean for Professional Masters, who welcomed the new class by emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinarity as a key to addressing the challenges of the global economic landscape. A call to live the Master with awareness, active participation and a strong orientation toward growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From Alumni insights to career perspectives<\/b><\/h3>\n

The dialogue moderated by <\/span>Angelo Manaresi<\/b>, Director of Studies, together with Alumni <\/span>Michele Tufariello<\/b>, <\/span>Beatriz Deneka Arantes Souza<\/b>, <\/span>Teresa Forte<\/b> and <\/span>Luca Benedetto<\/b>, brought to the stage a set of diverse and complementary experiences.\u00a0 The conversation focused on crucial aspects of the journey: the value of class dynamics, the importance of relationships with peers, faculty and professionals, the immediate application of acquired skills in the workplace, and the moments that may become both the most challenging and the most meaningful throughout the Master. From their reflections emerged a shared conviction: the strength of the programme lies in its ability to transform the classroom into a real space of exchange, where different backgrounds and approaches become drivers of growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The impact of artificial intelligence on learning and professions<\/b><\/h3>\n

Innovation took centre stage with the session <\/span>The AI Shift: Reinventing Learning and Professional Growth<\/b>, delivered by <\/span>Federico Baffetti<\/b>, Adjunct Professor and AI Entrepreneur. His contribution illustrated how artificial intelligence is reshaping competencies, decision-making processes and learning methods, opening new opportunities for managers capable of integrating technology, strategic thinking and responsibility.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Human values at the core of the managerial experience<\/b><\/h3>\n

In the afternoon, <\/span>Daniela Bolzani<\/b>, Associate Dean for Diversity & Inclusion, led the session <\/span>The Human Edge: Preserving Values in a Tech-Driven World<\/b>, bringing attention back to the theme of managerial identity.<\/span>
\n<\/span> As technology becomes increasingly central, the ability to preserve dimensions such as listening, integrity, contextual interpretation and community building becomes essential. An equilibrium that BBS promotes through an inclusive approach centred on the value of people.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cL\u2019Arte della Convivenza\u201d: a workshop to learn how to grow together<\/b><\/h3>\n

Among the most significant activities of the day was the team building workshop <\/span>\u201cL\u2019Arte della Convivenza\u201d<\/b>, led by theatre director <\/span>Pietro Floridia<\/b> and visual artist <\/span>Sara Pour<\/b>. Participants collaborated in the creation of a three-dimensional artist\u2019s book, a metaphor of the home as a shared space and of the central table as a symbolic place of dialogue, different perspectives and negotiation. The workshop made collaborative learning tangible, inviting each participant to contribute words, images and ideas to a collective work.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The days that followed: orientation, discovery of the campus and community building<\/b><\/h3>\n

The kick-off continued at Villa Guastavillani with sessions dedicated to programme policies, regulations and introductions to the academic staff. An opportunity to understand the organisational structure, available services and the value of the Campus as a place dedicated to study and interaction.<\/span><\/p>\n

The week concluded on 12 December with the <\/span>Class Warm-up | San Luca Trekking Experience<\/b>, an informal yet essential moment to strengthen group cohesion and introduce participants to an approach to learning that engages body, mind and relationships.<\/span><\/p>\n

A beginning that sets the direction<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Kick-Off of the <\/span>Master in Business Management<\/b> reaffirmed the vision of the School: to train business leaders capable of operating in complex contexts, open to innovation and grounded in the values of enterprise and community. It marks the start of a journey that will bring together theory and practice, disciplines and people, experience and imagination, in the spirit of the <\/span>generative education<\/b> that animates the educational mission of Bologna Business School.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
