{"id":143544,"date":"2025-10-09T15:59:45","date_gmt":"2025-10-09T13:59:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/?p=143544"},"modified":"2025-10-09T15:59:45","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T13:59:45","slug":"marchesini-alumni-reunion-responsible-leadership-community-and-social-impact","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/en\/marchesini-alumni-reunion-responsible-leadership-community-and-social-impact\/","title":{"rendered":"Marchesini Alumni Reunion: Responsible Leadership, Community, and Social Impact"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"415\"><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"30\">Friday, September 26, 2025<\/strong>, the historic campus of Bologna Business School at Villa Guastavillani hosted the <strong data-start=\"113\" data-end=\"142\">Marchesini Alumni Reunion<\/strong>, bringing together the Community of the <strong data-start=\"183\" data-end=\"225\">Corporate MBA Marchesini Group Program<\/strong> for an afternoon of dialogue, collaboration, and experiential learning dedicated to values, people, and social impact \u2014 an initiative promoted by BBS in partnership with Marchesini Group.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"415\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"417\" data-end=\"739\">The event was designed to turn reflection into experience: presentations, speeches, and group work alternated between team-building activities, value discussions, and recharging breaks, culminating in a shared closing session and an evening of networking. This essential rhythm fostered focus, collaboration, and action.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"741\" data-end=\"1406\">At the heart of the day was a <strong data-start=\"771\" data-end=\"807\">solidarity team-building session<\/strong> with <em data-start=\"813\" data-end=\"834\">Rise Against Hunger<\/em>: hands at work, coordination, attention to detail, and clear objectives. Preparing meals for those in need turned collaboration into tangible impact and practice into awareness. At the same time, a session dedicated to values encouraged participants to reflect on what drives daily choices, exploring what leadership means when results are measurable yet aligned with the common good. This dual track \u2014 action and reflection \u2014 highlighted one of BBS\u2019s core principles: the ability to generate positive change by connecting diverse skills, experiences, and perspectives.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1408\" data-end=\"2132\">The <strong data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1430\">opening speech<\/strong> by <strong data-start=\"1434\" data-end=\"1458\">Valentina Marchesini<\/strong>, President of the Marchesini Act Foundation, <strong data-start=\"1504\" data-end=\"1525\">Alessandro Grandi<\/strong>, Director of the Corporate MBA Marchesini Group Program at BBS, and <strong data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"1616\">Massimiliano Ghini<\/strong>, Adjunct Faculty Member at BBS, outlined the purpose and expectations of the day: fostering dialogue between business and education, turning learning into experience, and strengthening the community through shared engagement. From there, participants naturally moved into action \u2014 dividing into groups, rotating through activities designed to enhance collaboration and focus, and concluding with a final debrief and informal networking session that extended the discussions and ideas generated throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2134\" data-end=\"2523\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Supported by the <strong data-start=\"2151\" data-end=\"2180\">Marchesini ACT Foundation<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"2186\" data-end=\"2215\">Marchesini Alumni Reunion<\/strong> demonstrated how education can generate impact far beyond the classroom \u2014 uniting theory and practice, business and society. The event embodied the spirit of the BBS learning experience: building bridges between people and organizations, between ideas and actions, to transform learning into lasting
