This is what participants of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/en\/master-fulltime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Master in Business Management<\/strong><\/a> experienced during their <strong>company visit<\/strong> to <strong>Golden Goose<\/strong>, one of the most iconic contemporary brands of the <strong>Made in Italy<\/strong>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Welcoming them was a team of professionals who succeeded in conveying the essence of a company that built its success on <strong>uniqueness<\/strong>, <strong>customer experience<\/strong>, and an approach that embraces <strong>imperfection<\/strong> as a defining element of luxury.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat struck me the most was the authentic and engaging atmosphere created by the professionals who welcomed us,\u201d says <strong>Daniele Leo Carbotti<\/strong>, student of the <strong>Made in Italy<\/strong> track. \u201cTheir openness turned the visit into a real <strong>constructive dialogue<\/strong>, revealing a company culture strongly oriented towards <strong>listening<\/strong> and <strong>sharing<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For Daniele, the experience represented a bridge between theory and practice: \u201cBeing physically inside such a highly regarded Italian company was truly enlightening. I had the opportunity to closely observe its <strong>organizational dynamics<\/strong> and see first-hand how key principles like <strong>brand consistency<\/strong>, <strong>quality focus<\/strong>, and <strong>ongoing innovation<\/strong> are applied.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A sentiment shared by <strong>Tyler Johnson<\/strong>, student of the <strong>Italian Premium Brands<\/strong> track: \u201cThe atmosphere at Golden Goose was truly <strong>inspiring<\/strong>. There was a tangible sense of <strong>positivity<\/strong>, <strong>inclusivity<\/strong>, and a strong <strong>cross-functional collaboration<\/strong> culture. The attention to <strong>employee well-being<\/strong> is evident and is considered a <strong>strategic lever<\/strong> for fostering <strong>creativity<\/strong> and <strong>success<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both students were particularly impressed by the company\u2019s <strong>innovative business model<\/strong>. \u201cGolden Goose has built its identity around <strong>customer centrality<\/strong>,\u201d says Daniele. \u201cThe team dedicated to <strong>customer experience<\/strong> goes beyond data analysis to create <strong>memorable experiences<\/strong>. In their <strong>stores<\/strong>, customers become active participants, in a space that transcends the traditional retail concept.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tyler highlights another distinctive element: \u201cGolden Goose\u2019s philosophy is rooted in the <strong>embrace of imperfection<\/strong>, a <strong>revolutionary approach<\/strong> in the luxury world that celebrates <strong>individuality<\/strong> and <strong>personal expression<\/strong>, while remaining firmly anchored to its <strong>Italian roots<\/strong>. In my view, this vision represents a new <strong>benchmark for the future of Made in Italy<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meeting with professionals from the company provided valuable insights for the students\u2019 career paths. \u201cI had the chance to talk with some young professionals, including Claudia,\u201d recalls Daniele. \u201cI was struck by their <strong>sense of belonging<\/strong> and the <strong>passion<\/strong> with which they shared their work experience. It made me realize how important it is to choose <strong>environments that value people<\/strong> to build a <strong>career path aligned with one\u2019s personal values<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tyler was also inspired by her conversations with team members: \u201cChiara and Raffaella spoke to us about the importance of staying true to ourselves and maintaining <strong>curiosity<\/strong> and <strong>proactiveness<\/strong> at all times. They emphasized how essential it is to stay informed and seize every <strong>opportunity<\/strong> to build a meaningful path in the <strong>luxury industry<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Experiences like this one are a hallmark of the <strong>Bologna Business School<\/strong> educational model, which prioritizes <strong>experiential learning<\/strong> and <strong>direct engagement<\/strong> with some of the most <strong>innovative companies<\/strong> in the Italian and global business landscape. \u201cIt was a valuable moment not only for <strong>networking<\/strong>, but also for personal <strong>reflection<\/strong> on my <strong>aspirations<\/strong>,\u201d concludes Daniele. \u201cAn experience that perfectly aligns with the <strong>interdisciplinary<\/strong> and <strong>immersive approach<\/strong> of <strong>BBS<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For Tyler, the visit naturally complements her academic journey: \u201cWe\u2019re at the beginning of our <strong>specialized track<\/strong>, and this experience was crucial in <strong>connecting theory to practice<\/strong>, gaining direct exposure to the industry\u2019s <strong>real-world dynamics<\/strong>, and deepening my <strong>motivation to grow<\/strong> in this direction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a context where <strong>luxury<\/strong> is increasingly evolving toward <strong>personalized<\/strong>, <strong>authentic<\/strong>, and <strong>relational<\/strong> experiences, companies like <strong>Golden Goose<\/strong> show that it is possible to remain true to <strong>Italian excellence<\/strong> while innovating with <strong>creative boldness<\/strong>.
