The <\/span>Hybrid MBA Smart Week<\/b> offered participants an intensive immersion into the business world through three days of <\/span>direct engagement<\/b> with key players in <\/span>industrial innovation<\/b>, <\/span>field experiences<\/b>, and reflections on the skills required to <\/span>lead change<\/b> in complex environments.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Immersed in industrial excellence: the Ducati visit<\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/b> The <\/span>company visit<\/b> to <\/span>Ducati<\/b> was one of the <\/span>key moments<\/b> of the program. During the plant tour, participants explored the <\/span>production heart<\/b> of this Italian excellence, observing first-hand the <\/span>cutting-edge processes<\/b> and <\/span>technologies<\/b> that define Ducati\u2019s engineering culture. The following <\/span>corporate speech<\/b> provided an in-depth look at the company’s <\/span>values<\/b> and <\/span>strategies<\/b>, offering an exclusive perspective on how an <\/span>industry champion<\/b> addresses global market challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Nilde Clarice Regina Sisti, a participant in the program, the visit was <\/span>\u201ca key moment in the journey.\u201d<\/span><\/i> \u201cSeeing how the company concretely applies the <\/span><\/i>Lean<\/i><\/b> method and focuses on activities that generate <\/span><\/i>real value<\/i><\/b> in the production chain brought to life what we studied in Operations courses,\u201d<\/span><\/i> she explained. <\/span>\u201cEven more powerful was the sense of a deeply lived <\/span><\/i>mission<\/i><\/b> and <\/span><\/i>vision<\/i><\/b>, not just stated ones. It made me reflect on how crucial <\/span><\/i>alignment between strategy and operations<\/i><\/b> is for an organization\u2019s growth.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From theory to practice: the Business Game<\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/b> From the hands-on company visit to the <\/span>practical application<\/b> of managerial skills, the Smart Week continued with a <\/span>business game<\/b> led by Nicola Tomesani. This activity tested the participants\u2019 <\/span>decision-making<\/b> and <\/span>collaboration<\/b> skills, simulating complex scenarios and encouraging interaction among <\/span>professionals with diverse backgrounds<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Working in a challenging group setting highlighted how <\/span><\/i>skills<\/i><\/b>, when well integrated, can generate <\/span><\/i>exponential value<\/i><\/b>. I rediscovered the true meaning of <\/span><\/i>synergy<\/i><\/b>: when working with <\/span><\/i>listening<\/i><\/b> and <\/span><\/i>team spirit<\/i><\/b>, 1+1 can truly make 3,”<\/span><\/i> says Sisti. <\/span>“Another key takeaway was the importance of <\/span><\/i>analyzing the context<\/i><\/b>. Only through this <\/span><\/i>broad vision<\/i><\/b> can we understand where the market is heading and how to adapt. Lastly, I understood the risk of making decisions based only on the <\/span><\/i>short term<\/i><\/b>. The Business Game strengthened my belief that every managerial choice must be evaluated with a <\/span><\/i>long-term perspective<\/i><\/b>.”<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Leadership and inspiration: learning through experience<\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/b> The learning journey was further enriched by contributions from <\/span>Ivano Ferrarini<\/b>, CEO of Conad Centro Nord, and <\/span>Riccardo Pittis<\/b>, former basketball player and motivational speaker, offering two complementary viewpoints: <\/span>strategic business vision<\/b> and a <\/span>personal mindset<\/b> shaped by <\/span>resilience<\/b> and <\/span>adaptability<\/b>. Their talks sparked deep reflections on the <\/span>true meaning of leadership<\/b> in changing environments.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The talks by speakers like Ferrarini and Pittis made me realize that <\/span><\/i>leadership<\/i><\/b> is above all a <\/span><\/i>responsibility towards people<\/i><\/b>. To be truly effective, leadership must become <\/span><\/i>inspiration<\/i><\/b>. People are not just resources: they are the <\/span><\/i>key to creating value<\/i><\/b>.”<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The value of experience: looking back and ahead<\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/b> The Smart Week proved to be much more than just a training module: it was an experience where <\/span>theory and practice<\/b>, <\/span>strategic vision<\/b> and <\/span>concrete application<\/b> merged to prepare <\/span>managers ready to lead change<\/b> with awareness.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is reflected in Sisti\u2019s reflections at the end of her journey in the Hybrid MBA: <\/span>“Every decision has a <\/span><\/i>visible impact<\/i><\/b> on a company\u2019s performance. <\/span><\/i>Strategic vision<\/i><\/b>, <\/span><\/i>systems thinking<\/i><\/b>, and <\/span><\/i>awareness of cross-functional effects<\/i><\/b> are essential to truly lead. Great results are only achieved <\/span><\/i>together<\/i><\/b>: <\/span><\/i>people must be at the center<\/i><\/b>, valued and engaged in a <\/span><\/i>corporate culture<\/i><\/b> based on trust, shared goals, and common rules.”<\/span><\/i> She concludes with a conviction: <\/span>“A manager\u2019s job is to create <\/span><\/i>context<\/i><\/b>, <\/span><\/i>harmony<\/i><\/b>, and <\/span><\/i>synergy<\/i><\/b>.
