The conclusion of the first semester of the <\/span>Global MBA <\/b><\/a>marked a moment of reflection and sharing for a community that has proven to be <\/span>dynamic<\/b>, <\/span>inclusive<\/b>, and deeply <\/span>connected<\/b> from the very beginning. <\/span><\/p>\n

These have been intense months, filled with <\/span>academic<\/b> and <\/span>personal experiences<\/b> that have allowed participants to explore new horizons, both professionally and personally.<\/span><\/p>\n

In an <\/span>international<\/b> and <\/span>interdisciplinary<\/b> context, the classrooms became spaces of <\/span>continuous dialogue<\/b>, while informal moments strengthened bonds that go beyond the academic journey. A recent example was the <\/span>year-end holiday toast<\/b>, where students, families, and members of the community came together to celebrate a shared milestone. Events like these are not just opportunities to celebrate but also reminders of the importance of <\/span>mutual support<\/b> during such an intense program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Company visits and interdisciplinarity: experiences that enrich<\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/b>Among the most significant moments of the semester, the <\/span>company visits<\/b> offered a direct connection between <\/span>theory and practice<\/b>. As highlighted by Kirthi Gomatam, one of the Global MBA participants, these experiences were fundamental in understanding the dynamics of companies operating in diverse industries. <\/span>Barilla<\/b>, <\/span>Bisazza<\/b><\/a>, <\/span>the <\/span>Milano Triennale<\/b>, and <\/span>Fondazione Castiglione<\/b>, among others, opened their doors, providing the opportunity to explore <\/span>business models<\/b> and <\/span>innovation<\/b> up close.<\/span><\/p>\n

“These visits allowed me to connect my <\/span>Food & Wine<\/b> track with other areas of the program, such as <\/span>Design<\/b>, <\/span>Fashion<\/b>, and <\/span>Luxury Goods<\/b>,” Kirthi explains. “The discussions with my classmates, who come from diverse <\/span>professional<\/b> and <\/span>cultural backgrounds<\/b>, further enriched these experiences, offering new and unexpected perspectives.”<\/span><\/p>\n

An international dimension that encourages exchange<\/b><\/h3>\n

Diversity<\/b> is one of the key elements that defines the Global MBA. With participants and faculty from all over the world, every classroom discussion is enriched by <\/span>different points of view<\/b>, fostering deeper and more comprehensive reflections.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kirthi enthusiastically recalls the <\/span>Industrial Design and Branding<\/span><\/i> course, which combined <\/span>academic learning<\/b> with <\/span>practical application<\/b> through case studies and lessons led by industry experts. “The contributions of my classmates, coming from such varied <\/span>professional<\/b> and <\/span>cultural contexts<\/b>, pushed me to think in new ways, going beyond the limits of the curriculum.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The value of community: between sharing and family<\/b>
\n<\/span><\/h3>\n

One of the most appreciated aspects of the semester has been the <\/span>sense of community<\/b> that has developed among the participants. Events like the recent holiday toast at the BBS campus, as well as more informal moments such as <\/span>shared dinners<\/b> or <\/span>group trips<\/b>, have helped build connections that transcend the academic setting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kirthi fondly recalls a special moment: an evening at a classmate\u2019s home where she learned to bake traditional <\/span>Christmas cookies<\/b> with his family. “These moments remind us that we are not just students but part of a <\/span>larger network<\/b> that includes the people who support us every day,” she reflects. Another memorable experience was a <\/span>Halloween trip to a villa in Chianti<\/b>, where participants cooked together, sharing <\/span>laughter<\/b> and <\/span>stories<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Looking ahead<\/b><\/h3>\n

With the second semester on the horizon, the focus now shifts to <\/span>specialized tracks<\/b>. For Kirthi, this means diving deeper into the <\/span>Food & Wine industry<\/b>, participating in new <\/span>company visits<\/b>, and continuing to develop <\/span>skills<\/b> that will be crucial for the next step in her career.<\/span><\/p>\n

But at the heart of it all remains the <\/span>community<\/b>: a network of <\/span>support<\/b>, <\/span>collaboration<\/b>, and <\/span>connection<\/b> that makes every experience more meaningful. “The first semester taught me how important it is to engage with others, not just to learn but to grow together.”<\/span><\/p>\n
