The <\/span>Smart Week<\/b> of the<\/span> MBA Hybrid Online<\/b> <\/a>at BBS is a pivotal moment in the educational journey. An <\/span>intensive immersion<\/b> in <\/span>innovation<\/b> and <\/span>professional networking<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

From November 18 to 20, 2024, participants had the opportunity to engage in hands-on experiences that perfectly merge theory and practice, interacting with leading companies and professionals across diverse industries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Immersion in Industrial Excellence: The Tetra Pak Visit<\/b><\/h4>\n

The week began with a visit to the Tetra Pak plant in Modena, an experience that both engaged and inspired participants, including <\/span>Edoardo Id\u00e0<\/b>, PhD and Junior Assistant Professor at <\/span>IRMA L@B<\/b>, University of Bologna. “It was an uplifting experience,” Edoardo shared. “It allowed me to learn more about a company in my region that I had heard so much about but never had the chance to visit.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Particularly notable was Tetra Pak\u2019s approach to <\/span>ESG <\/b>(Environmental, Social, Governance) principles. “It\u2019s astonishing, especially considering the company\u2019s financial results,” Id\u00e0 highlighted. “It gave me renewed hope that <\/span>modern and sustainable management<\/b> is possible and inspired me to contribute to creating this in my own organization.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Innovation and Professional Development<\/b><\/h4>\n

The program continued with high-level training sessions, including a workshop on the <\/span>“Adaptive Mindset”<\/b> led by <\/span>Marco Marchegiani<\/b>, Skills Trainer and Business Coach. On November 19, the day was entirely dedicated to an <\/span>hackathon<\/b>, allowing participants to apply the skills they had acquired in a real-world problem-solving context.<\/span><\/p>\n

Engaging with Alumni and Looking Ahead<\/b><\/h4>\n

The <\/span>Smart Week<\/b> was further enriched by the insights of successful <\/span>Alumni<\/b>, such as <\/span>Andrea Grillenzoni<\/b>, General Manager of Garc Spa B.Corp, and <\/span>Gian Franco Murrone<\/b>, Group Project Portfolio Strategy at Credem Banca. These sessions provided valuable perspectives on the practical application of the skills acquired during the MBA program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lessons in Trust and Leadership<\/b><\/h4>\n

A recurring theme throughout the week was the importance of <\/span>trust<\/b> in corporate governance. “Employee trust in leadership permeates the entire organization,” Edoardo observed, emphasizing how this approach aligns with the principles of <\/span>B Corporations<\/b>. This insight sparked broader reflections on <\/span>modern leadership<\/b>: “I\u2019ll work to find ways to boost performance by fostering trust with my colleagues. It\u2019s far from simple or obvious, but I believe it\u2019s key to more humane and effective leadership.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The Value of Networking<\/b><\/h4>\n

In a flexible program like the <\/span>Hybrid MBA<\/b>, in-person events and live networking opportunities hold particular value. The <\/span>Smart Week<\/b>, held twice a year, is a concentrated blend of networking and <\/span>team building<\/b>, enhanced this year by the addition of the <\/span>New Campus BBS<\/b>. As Edoardo noted: “In these three days, I discovered aspects of my colleagues that I hadn\u2019t noticed in the past six months.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Conclusions and Future Perspectives<\/b><\/h4>\n

The <\/span>Smart Week<\/b> concluded with an inspiring talk by <\/span>Alessandra Raggi<\/b>, Consultant, Mentor, and Adjunct Professor, who offered a forward-looking perspective on the future of <\/span>leadership<\/b> and <\/span>corporate innovation<\/b>. The event reaffirmed the role of the <\/span>MBA Hybrid Online<\/b> at BBS as a cutting-edge program that effectively combines online learning with meaningful practical experiences.<\/span><\/p>\n
