The <\/span>New Space Economy (NSE)<\/b> is set to revolutionize numerous industrial sectors, from agriculture to aerospace, and Italy is positioning itself at the forefront of this transformation. <\/span><\/p>\n

As the second-largest country in Europe in terms of investments in the sector, our country is at the center of a revolution involving satellite technologies, innovative services, and new business opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this context, <\/span>Bologna Business School<\/b> presents the new <\/span>Open Program in Challenges and Opportunities of the New Space Economy<\/b><\/a>, a high-level educational course designed to prepare professionals and managers to seize the opportunities offered by this rapidly expanding sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Program: Innovation and Growth<\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/b>The program is divided into two thematic modules, spread across four educational sessions, held on weekends to allow participation even for those who work. The main objective is to provide participants with <\/span>practical tools to face the challenges posed by the New Space Economy<\/b>, with particular attention to applications in cross-sector fields such as agriculture, automotive, and environmental monitoring. Through a mix of theoretical lessons and expert testimonials, participants will gain managerial and technical skills useful for maximizing the impact of new technologies in their business context.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Leaders of the New Space Economy at BBS<\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/b>A distinctive aspect of this program is the participation of prominent figures in the world of the New Space Economy, offering participants privileged access to the latest innovations and perspectives in the sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the speakers are:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Colonel Walter Villadei<\/b>, Italian astronaut, who will share his direct experience in the aerospace sector, addressing the challenges and opportunities of an NSE that is rapidly globalizing. Villadei is a key figure in the discussion on the importance of space infrastructure for the future economy.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Walter Cugno<\/b>, Vice President of Thales Alenia Space, one of the leading European companies in the space sector, who will speak about the future prospects of European space programs and their impact on international competitiveness.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Carlo Des Dorides<\/b>, a European expert in satellite program development, who will introduce the course by exploring the origin and evolution of the NSE, with a particular focus on key sectors such as environmental monitoring and sustainability.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Anna Masutti<\/b>, Course Director and professor at the University of Bologna, who has highlighted the potential of the New Space Economy for the agri-food industry, with a focus on traceability and sustainability, key elements for future global challenges.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    These personalities, together with institutional figures such as <\/span>Vincenzo Colla<\/b> (Economic Development Councilor of the Emilia-Romagna Region) and <\/span>Giuseppe Acierno<\/b> (President of the Apulian Aerospace Technological District), will offer a unique and multidisciplinary educational experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Who is it for?<\/b><\/h3>\n

    <\/b>The program is aimed at a broad audience: professionals working in sectors not directly connected to aerospace, such as automotive, mechanics, and agriculture, who wish to acquire skills in the NSE to improve their competitiveness. It is also open to anyone who wants to enter this dynamic sector, characterized by rapid expansion and great growth opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The New Space Economy represents <\/span>an unprecedented opportunity for Italy and Europe,<\/b> and the BBS program aims to train a new generation of leaders and professionals capable of meeting the challenges and leveraging the potential of this sector.
