These are the main impressions that struck the <\/span>Global MBA students of Bologna Business School<\/b><\/a> during their recent company visit to Bisazza. The renowned Italian company, a <\/span>leader<\/b> in the <\/span>mosaic<\/b> and <\/span>luxury architecture<\/b> sector, offered students a valuable opportunity to see firsthand how <\/span>artistic excellence<\/b> and <\/span>business strategies<\/b> come together in perfect synergy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dana Kleiman,<\/span> Global MBA Candidate in Design, Fashion, and Luxury Goods <\/b><\/a>and <\/span>Communication Manager<\/b>, shared some reflections on the visit. \u201cThe beauty of Bisazza mosaics is <\/span>breathtaking<\/b> \u2013 each individual tile creates a <\/span>kaleidoscope<\/b> of images that translates the <\/span>creative legacy<\/b> of brands and artists into collective works of art,\u201d Dana said. \u201cI feel incredibly fortunate to live in a time where this <\/span>extraordinary<\/b> and <\/span>innovative intersection<\/b> between art and design exists.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

An Internationally-Oriented Management Approach<\/b><\/h4>\n

Another aspect that deeply impressed the students was Bisazza\u2019s <\/span>international approach<\/b>. The company doesn\u2019t view <\/span>competition<\/b> as a threat but as a <\/span>stimulus for growth<\/b>. “When a colleague of mine asked what the most <\/span>challenging market<\/b> was, the answer was <\/span>illuminating<\/b>,” Dana recalled. \u201cAmerica does not have the same <\/span>tradition<\/b> of mosaics as we do: there, mosaics are often considered <\/span>decorative elements<\/b> for kitchens or pools, while in Italy, they are part of our <\/span>history and culture<\/b>. However, this <\/span>lack of expectations<\/b> allows Bisazza to <\/span>innovate<\/b> and <\/span>educate<\/b> that market, creating something truly unique.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Bisazza\u2019s attention to <\/span>quality<\/b> and <\/span>service<\/b> is equally distinctive. Among the participants, one of the most notable observations was the company\u2019s commitment to making <\/span>every detail perfect<\/b>, with a final result that hides the <\/span>enormous work behind the scenes<\/b>. “It\u2019s like watching someone run a <\/span>marathon<\/b> without breaking a sweat,” Dana remarked. \u201cBisazza\u2019s art comes to life <\/span>effortlessly<\/b> in the eyes of the customer, but the <\/span>dedication<\/b> and <\/span>effort<\/b> behind each project are immense.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the business strategies observed during the visit, what stood out the most was the choice to <\/span>collaborate<\/b> with world-renowned <\/span>artists and designers<\/b>, such as <\/span>Swarovski<\/b> and <\/span>Pucci<\/b>. \u201cI believe that the strength of a <\/span>luxury brand<\/b> lies in its <\/span>legacy<\/b>, and Bisazza has successfully reinforced its heritage through these <\/span>high-level collaborations<\/b>,\u201d Dana commented. \u201cThis type of <\/span>partnership<\/b> not only enhances the <\/span>brand\u2019s perception<\/b> but also creates <\/span>value<\/b> for all parties involved.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

From Theory to Practice: The Value of Company Visits<\/b><\/h4>\n

For the Global MBA students of Bologna Business School, the visit to <\/span>Fondazione Bisazza<\/b> was a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the <\/span>business dynamics<\/b> of the <\/span>luxury world<\/b>. “Reading about luxury perception in <\/span>textbooks<\/b> is one thing, but experiencing it firsthand is something entirely different,” Dana explained. “Thanks to this visit, we were able to better understand what it truly means to <\/span>create a luxury product<\/b>, from its <\/span>conception<\/b> to its <\/span>realization<\/b>.”<\/span><\/p>\n
