Big data can be used <strong>to optimize recruiting processes<\/strong>, identify the most in-demand skills in the job market, and find areas for improvement within the organization.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recruiting as a common goal<\/strong>: companies are recognizing the importance of having a <strong>well-motivated team<\/strong> of <strong>talents<\/strong> <strong>to grow<\/strong> and <strong>remain competitive<\/strong>. This means that recruiting is no longer just an HR department task, but <strong>involves<\/strong> the <strong>entire<\/strong> <strong>organization<\/strong> in identifying the best talents and ensuring their successful integration into teams.<\/p>\n<p>Again, by 2025, there will be a <strong>trend<\/strong> on <strong>skills<\/strong> instead of job titles. Companies have realized that assessing employees\u2019 <strong>skills<\/strong> and <strong>abilities<\/strong> is more meaningful than a mere job description. This means there could be <strong>more growth and development opportunities<\/strong> for professionals who demonstrate having <strong>cross-functional <\/strong>and adaptable <strong>skills<\/strong> for different contexts and tasks.<\/p>\n<p>However, the most clear and decisive trend is the <strong>increased<\/strong> <strong>focus<\/strong> on the <strong>candidate<\/strong>: after years of rigid and \u201cblind\u201d selection grids and formats, it has become evident how high the risk of losing talents that do not fit into standard search criteria is. The <strong>candidate<\/strong> must <strong>return to the centre<\/strong> <strong>of the recruiting process<\/strong>, and it is essential to ensure a <strong>positive<\/strong> <strong>experience<\/strong> for candidates from the earliest stages of the selection process, <strong>personalizing<\/strong> the <strong>paths<\/strong> and <strong>empathizing<\/strong> with the people the company want to invest in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Greater attention to the candidate<\/strong>, the increasingly central role of <strong>big data<\/strong>, <strong>recruiting as a common organizational goal<\/strong>, and the importance of <strong>skills<\/strong> over job titles. These are the trends extrapolated from a complex and unpredictable market for the coming year.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Master<\/strong> in<strong> HR &amp; Organization<\/strong> at <strong>BBS<\/strong>, the first inter-university Master\u2019s program in HRO &#8211; in collaboration with the Universities of Bologna, Ferrara, Modena, and Reggio Emilia &#8211; conducted in <strong>English<\/strong> and among the few <strong>EFMD<\/strong>-accredited programs, aims to create HR professionals capable of improving companies&#8217; competitiveness and workers&#8217; well-being; leaders in the recruiting processes who can guide one of the most important and in-demand sectors of today&#8217;s market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The world of human resources management is constantly evolving and must adapt to the rapid and unpredictable changes in the market.
