For the higher education<\/strong> world, 2023 showed an increasing focus on innovation<\/strong> and new<\/strong> technologies<\/strong>, and a strong emphasis<\/strong> on social<\/strong> and environmental<\/strong> impact<\/strong>, the importance of experiential<\/strong> and hands-on learning<\/strong>, and on the flexibility<\/strong> of curricula that must be able to adapt to the increasing demands of work-life balance.<\/p>\n

The digital<\/strong> and green<\/strong> transition<\/strong> has boosted the phenomenon of skill shortage<\/strong> in companies, making upskilling<\/strong> and re-skilling<\/strong> practices essential, upgrading and new training in the skills needed by the staff already employed.<\/p>\n

New technologies, particularly the development of AI<\/strong>, aim to gradually replace routine tasks (data analysis, market monitoring, security control, supply chain management and sales).
