The second On-Campus Week of the <\/span>Professional Master in Sustainability Transition Management<\/a> at BBS<\/b>\u00a0served as a focal point in the students’ educational journey. <\/span><\/p>\n

This intensive week offered an extraordinary <\/span>full-immersion experience <\/b>in crucial topics such as <\/span>sustainability, industrial transition<\/b>, and <\/span>innovation<\/b>. These themes engaged and enriched the participants of the Master’s program. Through <\/span>intensive lectures, company visits, <\/b>and<\/span> practical activities<\/b>, they had the opportunity to explore the challenges that define a sustainable future.<\/span><\/p>\n

The week started with a warm <\/span>welcome<\/b> from Professors <\/span>Eleonora Foschi <\/b>and<\/span> Toloue Miandar<\/b>, followed by a session dedicated to <\/span>Urban Transition<\/b> led by Professor <\/span>Valentina Gianfrate.<\/b> The day concluded with a visit to the <\/span>Urbana Innovation Lab <\/b>in<\/span> Palazzo D’Accursio in the heart of Bologna<\/b>, where students had the chance to listen to expert interventions from the likes of <\/span>Saveria Boulanger <\/b>and<\/span> Giovanni Ginocchini<\/b>. The second and third days were devoted to <\/span>Industrial Transition<\/b>, featuring lectures and guided tours at the <\/span>Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering “Guglielmo Marconi.”<\/b> Here, students delved into the <\/span>Onda Solare project<\/b> and visited the department’s photovoltaic plant. The fourth day shifted the focus to <\/span>Agricultural Transition<\/b>, with visits to cutting-edge entities like <\/span>Eta Beta, Salus Space, <\/b>and the <\/span>Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences<\/b>. The day was enriched by Professor <\/span>Francesco Orsini<\/b>, who provided valuable insights into the future of <\/span>sustainable agriculture<\/b>. The final day concluded this extraordinary experience with visits to <\/span>CAVIRO Extra <\/b>and<\/span> WASP,<\/b> two entities revolutionizing their respective sectors in terms of <\/span>sustainability<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This week represents<\/span> a pivotal moment in shaping future leaders<\/b> in managing the transition towards a more sustainable society.
