Fun Coding Kids Bootcamp 2018<\/span><\/h1>\n

A\u00a0bootcamp organized by BBS for the children of the BBS Community members
\nduring the Graduation 2018 & XII Alumni Reunion<\/p>\n

BBS Fun Coding Kids Bootcamp<\/strong>\u00a0is a training program in which kids learn and experience basic aspects of \u201ccoding\u201d, through playful activities that progressively lead them to create a videogame, interacting in a team working approach with their mates and the guidance of\u00a0code wizards<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The project of this year – called Smart T-shirt<\/em><\/strong>– is special. It involves the development of virtual microworlds that will become – at some point –\u00a0physical,\u00a0<\/em>extendingthe BBS T-shirt into a\u2026 smart explosion of lights and colours.<\/p>\n

The methodology is that of\u00a0MIT Lifelong Kindergarten<\/strong>, i.e.\u00a0\u201clearn to\u00a0code, code to learn\u201d<\/em>, which is focused on creativity, making, exploration\/tinkering, interaction and integration of computational thinking principles, with the support of educational tools that are different from e-skills.<\/p>\n

The bootcamp is for kids from 7 to 11 years old, in Italian, and will take place at Villa Guastavillani for a total of 10 hours of activities, according to the following time schedule:<\/p>\n
