At BBS, he teaches Public Finance and Accounting Harmonization and he is responsible for the International Week of the Executive Master in Public Management and Innovation.<\/p>\n<p>His main research areas concern the financial analysis of the local public sector, management control in local public administrations and health care, measurement and management of performance in the public sector and management of outsourcing in local public services. His research concerns both the domestic and the international context where he prefers a comparative approach.<\/p>\n<p>He has been main expert and advisor in the field of public management and financial risk in public sector for several public and private institutions at domestic and international level.<\/p>\n<p>Has prepared a method for assessing the \u00a0state of financial health\/credit risk of local governments and their subsidiaries, in Italy and in Europe. The results of his work have been distributed to major public institutions and banks by the American multinational Moody&#8217;s Analytics.<\/p>\n<p>He holds a Ph.D. in B.A. awarded at the University of Ferrara, Italy; during his doctoral studies he has spent several months at Boston University to study outsourcing in public sector with professor David W.
