{"id":32351,"date":"2018-09-13T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-09-13T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/event\/corporate-culture-and-work-life-balance-allies-or-enemies\/"},"modified":"2020-03-06T11:31:02","modified_gmt":"2020-03-06T11:31:02","slug":"corporate-culture-and-work-life-balance-allies-or-enemies","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.bbs.unibo.it\/en\/event\/corporate-culture-and-work-life-balance-allies-or-enemies\/","title":{"rendered":"Corporate Culture and Work-Life Balance: Allies or Enemies?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bologna Business School organizes a workshop to present and discuss the results for Italy of the <strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">first international survey<\/span><\/strong> on the theme of <strong>work-life balance<\/strong> and on the <strong>impact of national and organizational culture<\/strong> on the choices of reconciliation between the working and private life of workers.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>While technological evolution has transformed the work into a sort of mission 24\/7, on the other hand, an increasing number of workers belonging to the new generations is\u00a0looking for sustainable careers, that is to allow them to pursue their professional ambitions while dedicating time and energy to private life.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>ISWAF<\/strong> research (International Study of Work and Family) has involved <strong>over 35 countries worldwide<\/strong>, assessing the relevance and division of responsibilities about the work-life balance between individuals and the company. The data collection and the analysis of the results at the national level has been\u00a0curated by Professors <strong>Gabriele Morandin<\/strong> and <strong>Marcello Russo<\/strong>, both professors of the <strong>University of Bologna<\/strong> and Co-directors of the <a href=\"\/hp\/?p=1570\" target=\"_blank\">Masters in HR and Organization<\/a> of BBS.<\/p>\n<p>The presentation of the results will be followed by a round table in which representatives of the academic world, managers and representatives of the HR world will participate. The conclusions will be entrusted to <strong>Elisabetta Gualmini<\/strong>, Vice President of the Emilia Romagna Region.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be held in
