On Wednesday<\/strong>,\u00a0November 12<\/strong>, at\u00a06:00 p.m.<\/strong>,\u00a0Villa Guastavillani\u00a0<\/strong>will host the event\u00a0Crossing Cultures, Meeting Talents – Practices for Attracting and Developing International Talent in Business<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As shown by the current lively debates on border protection, long-term integration of immigration, and economic protectionism, we live in an era marked by increasing international mobility, the emergence of second and new generations, and hybrid forms of work that bring different territories, cultures, and lifestyles into dialogue.<\/p>\n

Ethnic and cultural differences in organizations are now more evident than ever. How are companies responding to these trends? Is it possible to manage conflicts related to different communication styles, relationships with authority, or conceptions of teamwork? And how can these differences be transformed into a real strategic asset for growth, innovation, and competitiveness?<\/p>\n

The debate will address the issue of managing national and cultural diversity in companies from a multi-stakeholder perspective, giving a voice to students, employees, managers, businesses, and public decision-makers.<\/p>\n

In particular, the Emilia-Romagna Region’s experience will be highlighted, which is committed to attracting and retaining young talent through collaboration between the public and private sectors, as well as an integrated territorial welfare system. This experience will be discussed from an international perspective, linking migration flows to cooperation with the private sector, as in the initiatives promoted by the International Organization for Migration. This perspective will enable multiculturalism in the workplace to be viewed as a plurality of identities that are recognized and valued through conscious practices and targeted skills, in line with Valore D’s research.<\/p>\n
