Sustainability transition means not only \u201cdoing the same things better\u201d, but also \u201cdoing things differently\u201d and \u201cdoing them together with others\u201d. Although many companies have developed sustainability programs, increasing operational efficiency, reducing carbon emissions and the amount of waste produced, we are witnessing the implementation of non-systemic actions, which do not contribute to developing a real transition process. To be sustainable, a company must effectively manage the competitive and apparently divergent interests of all stakeholders: investors, employees, customers, governments, local communities and the natural environment.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this class is to start a debate on the role and functioning of companies in the face of challenges and opportunities raised by sustainability transition.<\/p>\n<p>The open lesson will be held by Matteo Mura, Academic Director of the Executive Master in Sustainability Transition Management at Bologna Business School.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be held in English language.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please fill in the registration form to join the event.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, December 17th, at 5.30 pm CET, the tester lesson Why Sustainability Transition is Leading the Agenda of Executives and Policy Makers will take place via MS Teams.
