Smart Week concludes the Hybrid MBA: three days of business, strategy and community

Three days to put knowledge into practice, engage with companies and professionals, and share the final moments of a transformative learning journey. The Smart Week marked the conclusion of the Hybrid MBA at Bologna Business School, bringing participants together on campus for an experience that captured the programme’s distinctive approach.

The week began with a Company Visit to Cefla, where participants had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into an international company through a tour of its headquarters and a discussion with the management team. In the afternoon, the “Adaptive Mindset” workshop, led by Marco Marchegiani, explored the importance of soft skills and adaptability in today’s business environment.

The second and third days were dedicated to a Business Game led by Nicola Tomesani, Management Consultant and Professor of Marketing at the University of Bologna. Through a management simulation, participants worked in teams to strengthen their decision-making, strategic thinking and collaboration skills, applying the knowledge and tools acquired throughout the programme.

Smart Week also provided an opportunity to reconnect with the Bologna Business School community. During the Alumni Speech, Annarita Borraccetti, CEO & Founder of Piessepi and BBS Alumna, shared her professional experience and reflected on the value of the Master in her career journey. The class dinner offered a further opportunity to strengthen relationships and expand participants’ professional networks.

The programme concluded with a closing speech by Franco Visani, Academic Director of the Hybrid MBA, who celebrated the participants’ achievements at the end of a programme built on the integration of online learning and in-person experiences, with a strong focus on the practical application of managerial skills.

More than the conclusion of a Master’s programme, Smart Week marks the beginning of a new stage in the participants’ professional journeys and their entry into an international community that continues to grow through collaboration, relationships and lifelong learning.
