Sharing to build: the Closing Event of the Master in Business Management
15 July 2026Sharing is more than simply passing on information or knowledge. It means building trust, taking responsibility, and bringing together ideas, doubts and experiences.
This was the starting point of the Closing Event of the Master in Business Management, a concluding moment designed to reflect on the journey participants have taken throughout the year and prepare for the next stage.
The day opened with remarks from Angelo Manaresi, Director of the Master, who welcomed participants before the experiential workshop, setting the stage for a final opportunity to exchange ideas and reflect together.
Designed by Pietro Floridia and Sara Pour, the workshop used theatre as a tool to explore some of the dynamics that shape organizations: collaboration, leadership, trust and decision-making. Working in groups, participants created and performed short scenes inspired by organizational scenarios, all centred around a common question: whether, how and with whom to share something important. Information, responsibilities, opportunities, mistakes, ideas and decisions became the starting point for reflecting on the value of sharing within teams.
The performances then became an opportunity for mutual observation. Alternating between the roles of performers and audience, participants explored different approaches, identified recurring dynamics and reflected on how groups build trust, navigate conflict and make decisions.
The day concluded with a symbolic gesture: a message addressed to the students of the next edition of the Master. An invitation to pass on what each participant had learned throughout the programme, turning individual experience into a shared legacy and creating a passing of the baton for those about to begin their own journey.
More than a closing event, the Closing Event was an opportunity to celebrate the value of the community built throughout the Master and to reaffirm that professional growth also comes from the ability to listen, collaborate and share experiences and perspectives.
